The Never Ever League was founded on a simple, yet overlooked principle: that adults deserve a dedicated, high-quality opportunity to learn to play hockey. While most "learn to play" programs cater only to children, we are exclusively for the adult who has never ever played hockey before—no prior skating or hockey experience is required.
Since 2012, this unique design and execution have empowered over 3,500 adults to start their hockey journey. We are a co-ed, non-checking program for individuals over 18 years of age, rooted in an insanely positive, judgment-free atmosphere. This is a program built by and for adult beginners.
THE 11-WEEK SKILL PROGRESSION: FROM BEGINNER TO PLAYER
Our acclaimed 11-week program provides a comprehensive and structured path to mastering the fundamentals of ice hockey. The curriculum is carefully balanced to ensure maximum learning and enjoyment:
Game Application: Structured, instructional game time (20%).
The Curriculum Breakdown:
Weeks 1-2: Master the Edge. Instruction is entirely focused on developing ice skating skills—the absolute foundation of the game.
Following Weeks: Individual Skills. The focus shifts to essential individual playing skills, including stick handling, shooting, and passing.
Later Weeks: Team Concepts. We progress into the dynamic of team play, teaching concepts like offense, defense, power play, and penalty kill. You will make new friends while learning the greatest game on Earth!
THE NEVER EVER CUP: YOUR GRADUATION NIGHT
The program culminates in the most rewarding experience: the Never Ever Cup. On the final week, participants graduate by playing in their first-ever organized hockey game!
This evening is a true celebration of your success:
The program's participants are divided into two teams, competing in a friendly, professionally-managed game.
The experience is treated like a pro game, complete with referees, the national anthem, and music.
Friends and family are strongly encouraged to attend as you officially graduate into the world of hockey.
The evening concludes with an on-site party where each participant receives their official Never Ever League Certificate, formally recognizing their achievement.
