THEY WERE NEVER EVERS, TOO!
Every graduate of our Rochester adult learn-to-play hockey program started as a Never Ever—someone who had never played the game before. Here’s what happens when everyday adults decide to step onto the ice and give it a shot.
"Awesome experience! Started from zero skating and hockey skills. I now believe I have the tools to improve my game thanks to NEL. 34 years old in decent shape—give it a go if you’re on the fence!"
"The Never Ever League makes the dream of playing hockey a reality. What I thought was impossible turned out to be one of the best experiences I’ve had in my life. Absolutely priceless."
"As a non-athlete and non-skater, I thought I was crazy signing up. Going through the Never Ever League has truly unlocked a love of hockey for us. It is a friendly, non-threatening environment to learn a new hobby!"
"The program is exceptional and was the highlight of my week. Thanks to the in-depth instruction, I went from barely able to stand in skates to comfortably playing the game. Would absolutely recommend it!"
"I'm a 50-something-year-old woman who had never ice-skated, and the coaches were so patient. It truly is a judgment-free zone. We did the class twice and are now playing in the I-League!"
"NEL was the best starter hockey program I could have hoped for. The pace of instruction, coaching, and camaraderie was great. Highly recommended for anyone that has ever wanted to get on the ice but didn’t know how."
